As each new year dawns, there’s always an electric energy to looking ahead with anticipation and hopefulness. Resolution-makers or not, there’s something magical and invigorating about leaving behind what has ed and welcoming in something fresh from 2018.
As 2023 comes to a close, gamers have come together to debate which underrated game was the winner – not because I find its content unworthy, but simply due to being so underrated! But many were amazed to find Weird West as such an enjoyable time-sink that quickly garnered most upvotes via Reddit Bexewa’s question “What was the most underrated game you played this year regardless of release date”. Weird West quickly rose above other contenders.
Blind_Insight, one of the free PlayStation Plus games this year, offered his thoughts: “Wild West is one of my favourite PS Plus titles this year; its gameplay resembles top down-ish shooting games with plenty of mechanics like kicking oil barrels into groups of enemies then tossing molotov bombs to light them off – I haven’t managed to beat this yet but its been keeping me entertained between playing The Finals!”
